Lee Hwan-kyun, head of the Incheon Economic Administration, participated as a special speaker at the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) held in Singapore on April 28, 2005. In a theme presentation titled "Asia's Geopolitical Perspective," the Commissioner proposed the Yellow Sea Economic Zone and explained the role and status of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, saying, "The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) will take the lead."
