On March 31, 2006, the Incheon Construction Headquarters held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of Songdo Coastal Road, inviting about 200 people, including Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo, at the groundbreaking ceremony around Songdo International Bridge (Songdo Bridge 1).
