On June 12, 2006, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a contract with Sanil Tech Co., Ltd., which has precision press technology in Japan, to invest 11 billion won by 2007 to establish a manufacturing plant and an R&D center on 2,357 pyeong of land in Songdo International City Knowledge Information Industrial Complex.
