On April 24, 2024 (Wednesday), Macrogen started construction of the Songdo Global Genome Center in the Advanced Industrial Cluster in Songdo International City. Macrogen, a company specializing in dielectric analysis, plans to build Asia's largest dielectric big data hub with the construction of the Songdo Global Genome Center. It will be built on the Ks10-1 lot (No. 210-2 in Songdo-dong) in Songdo International City with a total floor area of about 18,000 square meters, two basement levels, and eight floors above the ground. The Macrogen Genome Center, located in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, will be expanded and operated as Songdo Global Genome Center.
